Pair Of New Jersey Cops Trashed Cars Of Resident Who Complained About Them

While it's said that revenge is a dish best served cold, two New Jersey police officers have probably lost their appetite.

That's because they have both pleaded guilty to vandalizing the cars of a local man who'd filed a complaint against them.

According to Newser, 27-year-old Thomas Dowling and 31-year-old Stephen Martinsen admitted to fourth-degree criminal mischief Tuesday.

Dressed in disguised, they'd slashed the tires of two vehicles belonging to Ernest Mignoli, and smashed the window of one of them.

The men's plea deal leaves them ineligible for any work with the State of New Jersey.

They also have to pay back Mignoli for the damage, said to be around $500.

Spiteful retaliation from law enforcement officers towards a citizen for any reason is an unacceptable option.

This is in no way condoned at any level, for any reason.
