Parke heritage had a roller coaster of emotions last week.....their season opener versus seeger was cancelled when the patriots were put in quarantine.... the wolves found a makeup game against franklin county only to have that cancelled as well.....so they ended up not playing week one.... the 1a, seventh-ranked wolves made their season debut at home against covington... is there a more athletic brother duo in the wabash valley than christian johnson and noble johnson....the two put parke heritage up 27-nothing in the second.... christian johnson is a good basketball player, but he's not bad at football either....the parke heritage qb with one of four rushing td's in the game.... the wolves defense was awesome in the first half, they shutout covington....riley fergusion with the interception..... that gives parke heritage the ball with 1:30 to go in the half and 71 yards to score.... no problem says christian johnson....he goes deep to anthony wood, who pulls off the sick spin move to get by the defenders for a 51-yard td reception.... parke heritage opens their season with a 48-14 win....how christian johnson, stepping in the great logan white who graduate....johnson accounted for seven total touchdowns in the win.... still to come we'll let you know who has bragging rights in vermillion county between north vee and south vee.... plus we have action from northview and vincennes lincoln's games, when in the zone
