The American Red Cross is sending local volunteers down to Louisiana to help with the aftermath of Hurricane Laura.

Now there are many volunteers that are still needed, and from our area to go down and help more here.

Let this thing they can do is to donate money because on ... in an is is is really hard to light.

Try to do anything with donations like blankets or anything like that of water is just best to donate even 10 dollars if you can donate just even that much to the red cross that provides in the old on can provide blanket on that that is the that is lower asking right now is just for donations from people and down.

It helps a whole lo of people absolutely donna, if there are many in our community that may want to donate at this hour.

A lot of american red cross volunteer family still looking at the devastation and went on right here in the tennessee valley.

It has been a few months since the tornadoes hit our area and no i drove by there yesterday and justice see the man that impact at this tornadoes made on our community and how many families are still trying to rebuild their lives.

It's just terrible.

He is exactly the reason i decided to come american red cross volunteer because during the aftermath of a tornado.

I was a volunteer with the on ymca and down so i would just pack up my truck every day and it out in the community and deliver her and on.

It was failing into me as people were the heroes on they kept you're the angel, you're the hero no as naturally is her so many people that were so strong in their faith and in their on their knowledge that everything was okay and it was devastating and it still is devastating to to driving into the areas that were hardest hit by that tornado.

And so when that was over i just decided i needed i need to do this in someway somehow in so i contacted the american red cros and said this is my first appointment will anxious bad you and the be good and slightly are making a difference in seminal community tennessee valley and brine.so much for joining us this morning to get some information about the american across and how many folks in ou community can donate and help make a difference down now
