Harvesting season of paddy crop is likely to give a boost to the agricultural sector of Jammu and Kashmir. Harvesting process is underway in various district of the valley including Srinagar, Anantnag, Budgam, Baramulla, Pulwama and Ganderbal. Farmers in Srinagar are harvesting their golden-coloured paddy in traditional style as they expect quality crop this year. The climatic conditions have also been in favour of farmers as it benefitted the paddy production in the valley. Local labourers are getting more employment as due the pandemic; labourers from other states were not available this year.

Security forces recovered an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Jammu and Kashmir's Baramulla district on September 10. IED was recovered in Watergam village, Chatloora Rafiabad area of Baramulla district. More details are awaited in this regard.

Jammu and Kashmir police and security forces killed one more unidentified terrorist in an encounter in the Hakripora area of Pulwama district on Tuesday, taking the total count of terrorists killed to three. 'My Town My Pride' programme began in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch from October 20 by the government. The p programme aims at ensuring immediate grievance redressal, instant delivery of services to the masses. 'My Town My Pride' will also ensure the time-bound delivery of benefits of various welfare schemes. "This is part of bringing the administration to the doorstep of people. I spoke to all councillors here and heard their requests and issues. We'll try to resolve them," said Secretary to Govt.
At least three terrorists were eliminated in an encounter at Pattan in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir on September 04.The security forces have recovered huge cache of arms and ammunitions from the possession of the terrorists.
