Two people were sent to a hospital overnight after a fire at an apartment building.

This happened near Las Vegas Drive and Simmons.

THIS HAPPENED NEAR VEGAS DRIVEAND SIMMONS LAS VEGAS FIREAND RESCUE SAYS - 3 PEOPLE --INCLUDING A BABY -- WERE INSIDETHE APARTMENT WHERE THE FIRESTARTED.1 PERSON LIVING THERE WAS TAKENTO THE HOSPITAL WITH A FOOTINJURY.A NEIGHBOR WHO LIVES NEXT DOORWAS ALSO TAKEN TO THE HOSPITALAFTER BEING OVERCOME WITH SMOKE-- WHEN THEY RETURNED FOR THEIRDOG.THE CAUSE OF FIRE IS UNDERINVESTIGATION.
