A white woman appears to pull a gun on a group of black activists protesting a racially-charged advertising campaign in South Africa.The incident followed two adverts provided to the pharmaceutical retailer Clicks by one of their supplies TRESemme, an American brand of hair care products.The two adverts reportedly show a black woman’s hair labelled as “frizzy and dull” and a blonde woman’s locks described as “fine, flat and normal”.The protest was part of a nationwide campaign to target the retailer’s shops by the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), a far-left pan-Africanist political party.The group is angry is over the racially-charged advertisement the company posted on its website.Meanwhile, the local police removed three people from the Walmer Park Shopping Centre in the South African city of Port Elizabeth on Tuesday morning.The incident followed a row that led to a 52-year-old woman pulling out a gun on EFF protesters outside a Clicks store in the shopping centre.
