Application process for the first phase of disaster supplemental nutrition assistance program begins thursday.

Sixteen parishes will be able to provide additional food aid to families impacted by hurricane laura.

I spoke a dcsf representative about the application process.sot: "this w ill be a differnt snap process.

Dsnap is gonna be virtual, and individuals will not have to apply in person," shavana howard with dcsf says she hopes the virtual d-snap application process encourges those in need to apply.
