In our top story this morning --- we are now waiting for the kentucky supreme court's decision...on governor beshears coronavirus orders.

The court has heard the arguments...challe nging the legality of the orders.

As we've told you---several people...including attorney general daniel cameron..accuse beshear of abusing his power.

The orders in question....kentuck ians having to wear a mask in public, and putting a limit on class sizes at child care centers.

Beshear's general counsel, la tasha buckner, calls the challenge an "unprecedented" maneuver.

State solicitor general chad meredith says, beshear has "unilaterally created his own legal code".

"i will tell you, i still can't believe that these rules and restrictions have been challenged.

They are rules and restrictions that are supported by the white house, are supported by public health experts at every level, with almost 100 percent agreement they are the right thing to do, the steps that i've taken have been taken by just about every governor everywhere across the country."

While the high court heard arguments inside... outside the state capitol, a crowd was rallying against governor andy beshear's emergency actions during the pandemic.

Protesters held signs calling him a tyrant, claiming beshear was quote "drunk on power"..
