In what's being hailed as a great leap forward for pediatric sleep science, doctors have identified a new sleep disorder in children aged six to eighteen.
According to HuffPost, Restless Sleep Disorder, or RSD, is a condition in which children toss and turn while asleep, and often fall out of bed.
HuffPost reports RSD sufferers often have a difficult time focusing, and face emotional and behavioral challenges as a result.
Work into the mechanisms underlying RSD is ongoing.
