The man on death row for the murder of a hamilton county deputy has died behind bars.

Marlon kiser was convicted for killing deputy donald bond.

According to the tennessee department of correction, 50- year-old marlon kiser died of natural causes.

He was pronounced dead at the riverbend maximum security institution in nashville on wednesday, just before midnight.
