Politicianand their campaigns watch the latest polls to see who's in the lead before masses cast their vote... some of you may agree with what the polls show....some of you may not.

But a lot of data goes into determining those numbers ....in our decision 2020 coverage tonight news channel 2's brent kearney spoke with local pollster john zogby and he is predicting a very close race for the white house.

John zogby is a pollster.

And quite an accurate one, his company zogby strategies has accurately predicted every presidential race since they began polling in 1984.

Polls are all over the place but our poll that we are conducting nationally shows a considerably closer race than other polls do."

Zogyby says his polls are done online and are sent to millions of people across the country at random.

"essentially we are taking a random sampling out of 15 million emails taking a random sampling of several thousand and inviting them to a secure website specifically on a random basis."

Currently cnn polling has joe biden ahead of trump 53-to 43 percent.

A poll done by marist has biden ahead 54 to 43 percent.

Zogby's polling as of ten days ago shows a much closer race, joe biden leading the president by just 2 points.
