Shah has already appealed to the protesting farmers to shift to the Burari ground in the national capital to stage their protests and said the Centre was ready to hold discussions with them as soon as they move to the designated place. PDP president Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday said elections are no solution to the Kashmir problem and called for a dialogue between India and Pakistan to address the issue. She also accused the BJP-led government at the Centre of “murdering the democracy” in the name of District Development Council (DDC) polls as alliance candidates were being confined to homes while others enjoyed full freedom to campaign. The PDP chief said the alliance candidates were not allowed to freely campaign for the DDC polls. "Our people do not have security. They have been confined to their homes and not allowed to run poll campaign while BJP candidates are freely roaming around. This is not done? Will this country run on the BJP's agenda?"They tell us not to talk about Article 370. BJP ministers visit Kashmir and nine out of 10 times, they talk about the revocation of Article 370. A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader was allegedly beaten up and his office vandalised by All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) workers. The incident happened in Bankura District of West Bengal. "They have beaten him black and blue. The entire office has been ransacked. TMC is afraid of BJP's rising popularity in the state," said Shyamal Sarkar, BJP member.
A woman was shot at by unidentified assailants in Bihar's Patna. She was shot during a robbery attempt on November 28. The victim has been admitted at Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) for treatment. Speaking to media, a police official said, "The victim has been admitted to hospital and her condition is critical."
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a roadshow in Hyderabad. He said, "In Bihar, a newly-elected MLA of AIMIM declined to utter word 'Hindustan' during oath-taking event. Tejashwi further added that people say that CM Nitish Kumar didn't have another child out of fear that it could be a girl.
As many as 4,906 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Delhi on November 29, marginally less than yesterday's 4,998, taking the tally in the national capital to 5,66,648, according to the Delhi health department. In a health bulletin released Sunday evening, the Delhi health department informed that a total of 64,186 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the city on Sunday, taking the cumulative positivity rate in the national capital to 9.08 per cent. Meanwhile, 6,325 COVID-19 patients recovered, were discharged or migrated from Delhi on Sunday, while another 68 people died due to the virus. So far, a total of 9,066 people have lost their lives due to COVID-19. Currently, there are 35,091 active cases in the national capital while 5,22,491 people have recovered, were discharged, or have migrated from Delhi.
The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi on November 29 said the demands of the farmers who is protesting against the new farms laws is completely genuine, and I would request Prime Minister Narendra Modi to meet them and solve this issue.

RJD leader Shivanand Tiwari has lashed out at the Congress over the Bihar assembly election verdict. The senior RJD leader said that many believe the Congress bogged down the Mahagathbandhan in the state polls. Tiwari said that while the Congress had put up candidates in 70 seats the party did not even hold enough rallies in the state. He said that while Rahul Gandhi visited for 3 days, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra did not make an appearance for campaigning. Tiwari further alleged that this is not something that has happened in Bihar alone and said that while the Congress is always interested in fighting many seats, it is not interested in winning. Tiwari said that while the political battle was underway in Bihar, Rahul Gandhi was on a picnic at his sister’s house in Shimla. Congress had ended with 19 seats in the state severely denting the chances of the Mahagathbandhan, despite the RJD ending up as the single largest party in the state. Rashtriya Janata Dal's (RJD) veteran leader Shivanand Tiwari has come down heavily on alliance partner Congress for Mahagathbandhan's narrow loss in Bihar assembly elections. Tiwari said the Congress became a shackle for the grand alliance in the northern state due to which the RJD-led front couldn't secure the majority mark in the polls. Criticising Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi for not actively participating in the campaign trail, Tiwari said Rahul came to Bihar only for three days, and Priyanka didn't even campaign for the grand alliance. "Congress became a shackle for Mahagathbandhan. They had fielded 70 candidates but didn't hold even 70 public rallies. Rahul Gandhi came for 3 days, Priyanka didn't come. Those who were unfamiliar with Bihar came here. This is not right," Tiwari told ANI. Advising the grand old party to course correct, Tiwari said the Congress's poor performance in Bihar was not a single case, and that the Sonia Gandhi-led party lays emphasis on contesting on maximum seats in other states too, but performs below par.

The mortal remains of Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) founder leader Ram Vilas Paswan was being taken to his residence from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on October 09. Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan was present outside AIIMS along with other party workers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid his last respects to Ram Vilas Paswan at his residence in Delhi. BJP national president JP Nadda, Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan also paid their last respect to Ram Vilas Paswan. Union ministers Ravi Shankar Prasad, Giriraj Singh and MoS Ashwini Kumar Choubey came along with PM Modi to pay tribute. Paswan passed away at the age of 74 on October 08. He recently underwent heart surgery in Delhi. He has served as the Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution in Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government. His son Chirag Paswan broke the news on his Twitter account.
