And this is the sectional of doom andy..

Alongside the third ranked red devils..

Class 3a number one chatard and number 10 brebeuf both in this sectional..

Shane fry's team in pursuit of at least another sectional title game appearance against a guerin team that went 3-4 this season against a really tough schedule..

These two teams met in sectional action a year ago..

West lafayette squeaked out a 34-31 victory ..

Another good one this year ..

Scoreless in the second quarter ..

Colin martin to corey adams ..

A 17-yard touchdown for no.

17..

P-a-t no good ..

But the red devils take a 6-nothing advantage ..

That was the score at the half ..

Mainly because mo the monster ..

Mo omonode and the west side defense stepping up ..

But guerin eventually finds paydirt ..

Late in the third ..

Jagger albert with the t-d ..

The eagles jump ahead 7-6 ..

Shane fry's offense responds ..

Fourth quaeter ..

Martin punches it in ..

West lafayette retakes the lead ..

But guerin catholic prevails ..

20-18 the final score ..

Ok brian nay and central catholic hosting frontier in class a action..

A great start for the falcons in this one..

Caleb atkinson pounds his way in for the score..

Frontier jumps out to a 6 - 0 lead.

The knights able to bounce back later in the contest..

Clark barrett finds evan dienhart over the middle for a score..

And c-c is back in front..

Back comes frontier now..

It's atkinson again up the middle touchdown falcons..

But too much central catholic in this one..

Barrett finds ty buche in the endzone..

That's been a good combination this year..

The knights advance in sectional play with a 35-12 win..

Staying in sectional 42..

North white hosting clinton central in monon..

This one was all bulldogs..

First half action the give is to anthony ransford..

And here he comes right into your living room..

The senior scores..

One of many on the night for george gilbert's squad..

Later in the first half..

Here comes ransford again..

And there he goes..

Plays like these never hurt..

And it was one of those nights for the north white defense... ransford takes it deep inside viking territory..

And that sets up this..

Owen smith right up the gut for a score..

All clinton central in this one..

They win it 39-7 e final..

Also in sectional 42... carroll playing host to clinton prairie.

This one went back and forth for much of the first quarter.

Drew duarte gets the ball and finds space on the outside.

The junior takes it in for six.

But carroll respds on the following drive.

Junior quarterback heath richardson finds senior chase humphreys down the middle for a big gain to set up first and goal.

Two plays later, richardson connects with wade peters for the score.

Carroll goes up 7 to 6.

Later in the first, clinton prairie back on the move.

Osborn calls his own number, reaching for the endzone....touchdown.

Clinton prairie up 12-7 with three minutes left in the first.

In the second, carroll looking to move the chains with the deep ball.

But osborn comes away with the interception.

Osborn doing things on both sides of the ball..

A big night for the gophers..

Clinton prairie would go on to win it 28-7.

Sticking with the class a sectional 42.... tri-county hosting traders point christian in the fourth quarter... 6 minutes left... knights lead 13-0... phillip moran loses it.... scooped up by tricounty qb korbin lawson..... and he...is..gone..... tri county lost this game by 52 points last year.... the cavs looking for redemption late.... 14 seconds reamin on the clock.... it's do or die.... lawson....up high to bryce bahler... it's good!

The cavs trail by one.... they'll go for the two point conversion.... lawson under pressure... gets rid of it... game over... .

Traders point edges tri-county by one, 13-12.... so traders point christian and carroll to meet in the sectional semifinal round ..

Central catholic will face clinton central..
