To in the zone..... i remember when greg barrett took the head coaching job at south vermillion he said he wanted that area to experience success like they never have on the gridiron... coach is getting that done....this season the wildcats won their first outright conference title in program history..... now barrett is trying to guide his wildcats to their very first sectional title... south vermillion opened the state tourney at home against seeger... 14 seconds to go in the first half...no score...south vermillion qb anthony garzolini changes that with this 32-yard strike to thomas brooks... wildcats went to the locker room up seven-nothing... fourth quarter....seeger goes on top 14-7 on this two-yard qb keeper from khai stephen...... patriots trying to run clock late....facing a third and long....kaden mcmahan gets the big sack for the south vermillion defense to get the ball back to the wildcats offense... south vee still down 14-7....wildcats fourth and seven at the seeger 18 with four to play..... garzolini to peyton hawkins...these two hooked up for some big plays this year, but no here.....incomplete....big opportunity missed by the wildcats... south vermillion trying to get the ball back...seeger facing third and eight... the wildcats with the big defensive play, they get the interception right... but wait....south vermillion somehow missed the ball....rayce carr brought it in and only fitting with his name races 80 yards to seal a seeger victory..

Look at this again....i'm not sure how south vermillion doesn't intercept this pass..... wow..... seeger pulls the upset, winning 20-14... one of the best seasons in south vermillion's history ends in heartbreaking
