Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has unveiled an action plan to improve the trustand confidence in the Metropolitan Police. Figures show black people arealmost four times more likely to be stopped and searched in the street thanwhite people in London. A teenager has pleaded guilty to dangerous driving after hitting speeds of180mph on his motorbike during a 30-minute police chase. Marian VasilicaDragoi, 19, jumped red lights, mounted pavements and rode on the wrong side ofthe road in a bid to escape, the Metropolitan Police said. Officers spottedhis high-powered bike, with a false number plate, at around 9.20pm on May 20in the Wood Green area of north London.
