Chico police say the group fired off shots thursday evening in west chico ....while trying to rob someone.

The student attends chico high and is symptomatic.

The district says staff is working to notify other staff and families who came close contact with that student.

Those who did... are being placed on a precautionary quarantine.### happening today... election organizers will be out in force... setting up voter assistance centers throughout butte county.!

Those centers are set to open tomorrow - and will be open until election day.

At those centers you can drop off a completed ballot, get a replacement ballot, and more for a full list of sites and hours..
