The Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown revealed its 2021 ballot with 25 candidates up for election including 11 newcomers and 14 returners.

Class of 2021 today.

There are 25 names on this year's ballot - all of whom hoping to get 75 percent of vote to be inducted into the hall next july.

Of the 25 names - 11 of which are newcomers to the ballot this year.

Some recognizable names to fans in our area include former yankees a-j burnett and nick swisher.

Latroy hawkins who spent time with both the yankees and the mets - and michael cuddyer who finished his career with the mets.

--- also torii hunter - barry zito and shane victorino.

((change))) they will join 14 returning players - including curt schilling - roger clemens - barry bonds - and omar vizquel - all of whom got more than 50% of the vote last year.

Also on there - former yankees andy pettitte - bobby abreu - andruw jones and gary sheffield.

Former met billy wagner - red sox great manny ramirez - and slugger sammy sosa.

The results of the vote will be announced on tuesday january 26th - and the elected members of the class of 2021 will be inducted alongside derek jeter and larry walker of the class of 2020 in cooperstown - on july 25.
