Hailey, what can you tell us about this ongoing court battle?

What i can tell you from what the family said is they are constantly re-living the death of kevin mayo.

The defendant asking for another delay has this family saying enough is enough kibby says: "i honestly hear my son, i hear him saying fight for me.

Its been long enough.

Vo: three years ago kevin mayo was killed in a road rage motorcycle accident.

The mayo family struck with grief has not been given answers chris says: its ridiculous the amount of time that's gone by its been three years.

If they aren't ready after three years they shouldn't be an attorney.

Vo: police say kevin mayo and raleigh rodrigues were involved in a road rage incident on i-5.

Rodrigues was charged by police for 1st and 2nd degree manslaughter.

The mayo family says they are saddened that while they wait for the trial rodrigues get to continue to make memories.

Kibby says "he's getting to spend time with his family, i haven't put up charismas lights, i haven't celebrated i haven't i turned my lights up on my christmas tree and i haven't put anything up since.

Vo: the defences is requesting another delay in the trial because of coronaviurs restrictions.

The mayo family adding that the three years of the courts decision to postpone the trial-- has caused them real pain.

Chris brother says: it just keeps everything fresh and none of us are able to get real closure and move on from anything its just always there.

Vo: while the mayo family will continue to find justice for kevin the family saying they will always remember their beloved son- brother- and friend.
