The college of social work at the university of kentucky is trying to help solve that issue for one particularly vulnerable group.

"ask-teens" is part of the program called "adoption support for kentucky."
That program has been around for 20 years and is focused on providing support for adoptive and foster families.
Missy segress... who is with the college of social work.... says working with that program was one of the reasons this support group for adopted teens was created.

They not only need support byt they need support from others who have had an experience like them.
