How do students feel about returning to class?

On reopening student advisory.jpg we've heard a lot from state officials... education officials.... and parents about whether to reopen schools... but how do students feel about returning to class.

L3: abc 36 news white students weigh in on reopening schools commissioner's youth advisory council at a meeting of the commissioner's youth advisory council.... high school students from around the state were asked how they would advise governor beshear when it comes to reopening schools in january.

Many of the students say they believe schools should stay closed until the case numbers around the state come down more.

Others say the decision to reopen schools should be left up to individual counties.

The students also talked about the difficulties... and risks... that come with reopening the schools.... and keeping them closed even longer.

Glass says the governor has asked school superintendents to make a list of teachers and staff willing to get the vaccine... but saysit is not certain where teachers would fall on the vaccine distribution list.
