24-year-old wright is a pro surfer.... an australian most famous for his trademark mullet until now... he jumps the fence ... and makes an all out sprint to the struggling person, a woman.

That's wright jumping into the hawaiian surf.

Sot mw: i just came and met her on the other side of the rocks.

A world champion surfer..helping from shore sot mw: if it wasn't for my sister, i wouldn't have to know to grab her, pick her up and like throw myself into the wave to take the force of the wave.

Finally wright with others brings the grateful woman safely to the beach and meets her son.

Sot mw: just was hugging me so tight, saying "thank you."

Mw: like, "i thought i thought she was gone."

And just he was
