Peco Foods announced the expansion of West Point plant but decided to close its business in Brooksville.

To stores across mississippi, affecting the lives of many.

Peco foods announced many changes to the company's layout in mississippi earlier today... but this facility behind me in west point was one that the company said will see more growth in the near future.

He said he's seen many people without jobs in the area, but with the growth of the facility in west point, he believes it could be life changing for many.

Laquez kennedy - works in west point: "it's a sad thing not having a job and it's hard to make it in this world without having a job or income so i feel like that will bless a lot of people to have their spirits lifted up knowing that a job is opening up here."

Track: along with the addition of the par-fry plant and renovation of the distribution freezer, peco announced this facility will see more additions to the processing line... creating more jobs for the next several years.

I'm just worried about people with family, with kids.
