Holly myers: "it's tough&let's go!"

Since mid- november&glenn county remains in the purple tier.

For business owners like holly myers...it has posed a lot more challenges for longer than she has hoped.

Holly myers/gathering owner: "we are doing okay.

I think that we are really fortunate in that we live in a small community.

You're not faced with big crowds and lines and things like that.

The community and people have been very very supportive of our little business."

Up to now&glenn and yuba counties are the only two counties in our area still in the purple tier.

This has restricted a lot of businesses in the area from opening up more.

Holly myers: "you know, one day you're six feet apart, the next day you're three feet apart, get your vaccine, continue to wear a mask&we've just kind of moved forward and people appreciate that it seems."

But&according to the county's public health& this is the first week the county has met the red tier criteria since november.

For holly...she can't wait to get back to normal.

Holly myers: "i'm looking forward going to the green tier if there is one!

Is there a green, let's go tier?"

Carmela karcher: "depending on how many cases are reported next week, public health says the county could finally move into the red tier.

In glenn county carmela karcher action news now coverage you can count on."

Glenn county public health told action news now that as long as people continue wearing masks and staying home when they feel sick&the red tier will become more of a possibility.
