'1st poll in 6 years when...': BJP on WB voting, attack on Suvendu brother's car

The Bharatiya Janata Party congratulated the Election Commission as West Bengal began voting to choose its next government.

Kailash Vijayvargiya said that he has witnessed local, Assembly, and Lok Sabha elections in the state in the last 6 years, but the current round has had the least violence.

However, he cited the attack on BJP candidate Suvendu Adhikhari's brother's car to seek detention of history-sheeters to prevent violence.
