Alabama: 16 years and older can receive vaccine beginning April 5

People 16 years old and older will soon be eligible to receive the coronavirus vaccine in Alabama.

"i'm announcing that every alabamian 16 years of age and older will be able to receive the vaccine starting monday, april 5th."

Alabama government kay ivey made that announcement late this morning at a vaccination center manned by the national guard in wilcox county.

Mississippi recently opened up its vaccinations to most everyone without restrictions, the second state in the nation to do so.
