Speaking on COVID-19 vaccination, United States President Joe Biden said his country became the first country to administer 150 million shots and fully vaccinate 62 million people.
"We crossed 150 million shots yesterday and are on our way to hitting the goal of 200 million shots by my 100th day in office.
We are administering an average of 3 million shots per day over 20 million shots a week," Biden said.
"We are first country to administer 150 million shots and fully vaccinate 62 million people.
More than 75% of people over 65 yrs of age have got shots, up from 8% when we took office.
That's dramatic turnaround and critical as seniors account for 80% of all COVID deaths," he added.
