A massive fire broke out at a bowling alley in the town of Oneonta early Friday morning.
Officials say the building is a complete loss.

Our top story this noon...the holiday lanes bowling alley in oneonta caught fire overnight.
A massive fire ensued with over a dozen fire companies responding to try to get it under cojntrol.
This happened just before 2:00 this morning.
We do have cell video from a viewer..dona marie...which shows just how large and intense this fire was.
Departments from in and out of otsego county responded.
A worker at the bowling alley told our crew...the lanes were open until around 11:00 last night.
The good news here, no one was injured.
The owner of the lanes did not want to talk on camera either but did tell our reporter on scene this morning that the lanes reopened back in september and he put an awful lot of money into the facility before being allowed to re- open by the state back in september.
He says he is not sure if he will rebuild...but he says these are the only lanes in oneonta so he would like to.
The fire chief says it was fortunate to have a big open parking lot to park many of the firefighting vehicles...and he says they used every square inch of that parking lot.

Investigators are still on scene at this hour.
Many of the crews that responded were called in to provide water tankers...as in that part of the town of oneonta there is no municipal water to fight a fire in the area.
State police fire investigators are now on the scene using a drone to videotape the scene from above.
Right now...no word yet on a cause.
The building is considered a complete loss.
