Comprehensive Civil rights team hosts two-day virtual event

The Comprehensive Civil rights team will hold a two-day virtual event on April 22-April 23.

Members of the macon-bibb comprehensive civil rights team... will host a virtual two-day event .... to educate the public on civil rights protections.

Team membes say ... their goal is to answer any questions the public may have on the topic.

The event will be set up in panals.

And various speakers ... will talk about different topics... like how a possible civil rights ordinance will effect businesses and people of color.

This is an opportunity for questions to be raised they will have the ability within the virtual format for local people to ask their questions, and there will also be the chance afterwards to ask questions, a followup after hearing a panal if you've got questions about it, so the purpose of this whole event is education of this whole community.

The free virtual sessions will take place on april
