It's a story we first told you about a little over a week ago... a tri-state veteran is celebrating her milestone birthday.... mildred bruner---also known as "granny b"--is celebrating her 100th birthday today..
Although her birthday was just a few days ago--her family hosted her birthday party earlier today at first christian church in evansville.... at the age of 22---mildred joined the army air corp during world war two---stationed as a nurse in mississippi.... "i don't think i'm going to change anything... just going to do the things i've been doing.
Just enjoying life.
