40,000 flowers were installed on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
To honor those who lost their lives to gun violence on Tuesday (4/13).
The Gun Violence Memorial is a collaboration between Gabrielle Giffords' foundation and Doug Landry, a visual artist.
The memorial can be viewed until April 16.
