Unite the Union holds co-ordinated strikes across the country in protest against "fire and rehire" tactics used by employers including Go North West buses and Goodlord lettings.
Workers in east London picketed lettings agency servicing company Goodlord, which is in an eighth week of strike action.
Fire and rehire involves employees being made to accept worse pay and conditions to keep their jobs.
Unite is trying to make the practice illegal.
