Woman threatens to kick out houseguest over his ‘entitled’ behavior

A woman let her friend stay at her home forfree, but now she is regretting it.

She shared whathappened on Reddit’s “Am I the A******” forum.“He had nowhere to stay, so I offered to let himlive in my guest room rent-free until he found ajob,” she explained.

“I, of course, told him if he wantsto stay here, he needs to help around the house”.“Now it’s been over a year, and in the last few months,he has not been helping much.

Sleeping all day andstaying up gaming and raiding the fridge at night.I feel like I took in a teenager, but this is a grown man”.She decided to confront him aboutthe issue, but it didn’t go over well.“I’m not asking him to deep clean the house atnight, but I don’t think it’s unreasonable to askhim do dishes and clean a bathroom.

Justgeneral helping out with chores”.“He’s now going on Facebook sayingI’m throwing him out during a pandemic andknowingly making him homeless”.Reddit users thought she had every rightto kick him out.

“He is 100 percent takingadvantage of this,” one person wrote.“It’s basic human decency to clean up afteryourself and try to help the friend who’s givingyou a home to live in,” a user added
