The ev re320 is a chunky mic weighing in over a pound, add that to the shock mount and you'll need a beefy stand to support it.
It feels as sturdy as it weighs with the body being constructed from steel.
A kind of throw back to when if it was heavy it was good.
(I'm in that camp).
I use the electro voice re320 streaming.
It is a dynamic microphone so it does not require phantom power.
This probably isn't a big deal as pretty much all XLR USB audio interfaces are capable of supply it, but it not required.
The mic has to modes built in, one captures a little more base than the other.
I record this video using only the RE320 running through my EVO4 interface.
