Covid-19 Video Mask Private Business Open to Public 1-2022

Is it legal for a privately owned business to deny entry into the business in California, USA when the customer wanting to enter does not have a mask on in violation of the state or local mandates?

More specifically, does the US Constitution protect this customer from being arrested for trespassing if law enforcement and/or the merchant asks the customer to leave for not wearing a mask?

I believe I address some federal laws in this video too, but the primary concern is the US Constitution because some people say that the US Constitution generally and often does not apply to a private business mask scenario.

It is important for law enforcement, private citizens, and merchants to understand the Supreme Law of the Land.

There are many other laws that can be used and it would be quite interesting to keep the merchant and law enforcement busy for many hours discussing them.

Most of what is happening is that the citizens are not familiar with the laws, and law enforcement is not either (often, but not always) due to no fault of their own; however, most of the time law enforcement has been very good about handling these situations for which I am very grateful.

The bottom line, here, is that it is empowering for all of us to know our rights!

Enjoy!
