I have never done a gear review before but I remember John Skinner being in the fisherman magazine when I was a kid growing up in Jersey.
I grew up fishing out at Montauk and the Jersey Shore and I have been watching him since he started his YouTube channel.
John Skinner and his boys destroy fluke and bass on these bucktails and I have been waiting for the opportunity to get some of those bucktails.
I finally sat down and ordered some of these bucktails a few weeks ago and I wasn't disappointed.
I really like the S&S bucktail they have a good weight to them and I really like the way they sit on the bottom and create a big profile.
They have really sticky Gamakatsu hooks, I can see why John Skinner and @Jigging Jerks don't miss or lose a lot of fish.
I had to boat swing my only fluke of the year and even though it wasn't a keeper it was awesome to get it on film.
I'm a big fan of these bucktails and I have learned a ton of stuff from John Skinner especially since he has taken to social media.
