Microsoft Resolves Windows 10 Kaspersky Bug in the Latest Cumulative Update

The most recent Windows 10 cumulative updates released as part of the December 2021 Patch Tuesday cycle come with lots of fixes, including one aimed at issues experienced with Kaspersky software. Microsoft explains in the official release notes of the update, which you can check out in full in the box at the end of the article, that some apps were no longer allowed to start on some Windows 10 devices in some circumstances. “Addresses a known issue that might prevent apps, such as Kaspersky apps, from opening after you attempt to repair or update the apps using the Microsoft Installer (MSI),” Microsoft explains in the release notes.
