American Battery Metals names Facebook director Menka Sethi as its new COO

American Battery Metals Corporation (OTCQB:ABML), soon to be known as American Battery Technology Company, announced Thursday the appointment of Menka Sethi as its chief operating officer. Sethi joins the company from Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB), where she led the company’s location strategy and managed a $1 billion investment and policy initiative to build more affordable housing in communities where Facebook operates. She is also a licensed architect and has experience leading real-estate development finance and management projects around the world. Sethi will remain a board member of Alto Housing, a policy group, and a strategic advisory to companies and organizations addressing the housing crisis in California.  READ: American Battery Metals appoints CTO to board of directors "Menka brings an energy and experience to our company that is unsurpassed," American Battery CEO Doug Cole said in a statement. American Battery, based in Nevada, is focused on supplying battery metals through its three divisions: lithium-ion battery recycling, extraction technology and primary resources.
