S&P/ASX 200 (INDEXASX:XJO) is lifting for a second day, with the index up 0.22% to 6,804.7 by 1.23 pm. This follows an overnight rally on Wall Street where the S&P 500 rallied more than 2% for its best day since June. Locally, all sectors except energy and property stocks were higher at lunch. Tech stocks have gained 1% after declining by 7.1% last week.
