archTIS chairman shows confidence in information security strategy by early exercise of options

archTIS Ltd (ASX:AR9) chairman Miles Jakeman has demonstrated his confidence in the company’s information security strategy by the early exercising of options with a total value of $36,000. On March 11 Jakeman exercised 180,000 AR9O8 Unlisted Options and now holds 1,634,545 fully paid ordinary shares in a direct interest. These 20-cent options were due to expire on February 13, 2023. New US channel practice archTIS recently launched a Federal Sales and Channel Practice in the United States to meet increased government demand for advanced information protection solutions. This leverages the company’s recent entry into the US market with its acquisition of Nucleus Cyber and will build on success in the Australian defence agencies and supply chain markets. US appointment As part of this initiative, archTIS appointed Bill Kalogeros to the leadership team as Federal and Defense Industry Base director. Kalogeros has more than 25 years’ experience as a US federal sales professional and US veteran as well as experience as a business executive. His career has combined channel, business development and sales management responsibilities within highly competitive organisations, industries and commercial and government markets. Building on success archTIS global chief operating officer and US president Kurt Mueffelmann said: “archTIS and its subsidiary Nucleus Cyber provide advanced data-centric information security solutions to enforce the secure collaboration of classified and top-secret information between government agencies, defence and their suppliers – anywhere. “Increased demand for secure collaboration solutions and rising nation-state threats have created a need to expand our team and establish a US Federal and Defense Sales and Channel Practice to build on the company’s success in Australian defence agencies and supply chain markets.” Strategic consultant In addition, Riley Repko will serve as a strategic consultant leveraging his experience as the former strategic advisor to the US Air Force Secretary and the US chief of staff as well as a retired US Air Force reserve senior officer and combat veteran. Repko is an entrepreneur, strategist and technology industry executive backed by 30 years of hands-on leadership experience collaborating closely with the private sector and with the military.
