Sanatana Resources appoints mining industry veteran Tom Obradovich to its board of directors

Sanatana Resources Inc (CVE:STA) (OTCMKTS:SADMF) announced the appointment of Tom Obradovich to the company’s board of directors. Obradovich has extensive experience in mining exploration, development and financing, having co-founded Canadian Royalties Inc as well as upgrading and doubling the resource of Young-Davidson Mines before it was acquired by Northgate Minerals in 2005. “We are delighted that Tom Obradovich has accepted a board position with Sanatana. Tom's background in mining exploration, development and financing will be an invaluable asset to Sanatana as we move forward with our portfolio of properties,” Sanatana Resources CEO Peter Miles said in a statement. The options vest in stages, with 25% vesting immediately and the remainder vesting 25% every six months from the date of the grant.  Sanatana Resources is currently exploring and developing its 2,200 hectare Gold Rush project located just 11 kilometres (km) north-west of Pan American Silver’s Timmins West mine, where over 750,000 ounces of gold have been produced to date. Sanatana Resources also owns the Tirua copper-gold project, which encompasses 282 square kilometres in the Solomon Islands north of Australia and includes a prospecting licence over 16km, in addition to the Santoy project on the northern shores of Lake Superior.
