Vox Royalty Corp (CVE:VOX) (OTCMKTS:VOXCF) has noted that its royalty partner Thor Explorations Ltd (CVE:THX) (LON:THX) (OTCMKTS:THXPF) (FRA:T2X) has begun commissioning its gold processing plant at the Segilola gold project in Nigeria and will pour the first gold bar there before the end of the month.  Vox Royalty, which has a 1.5% net smelter return (NSR) royalty on all products mined from the property, estimates it will receive pre-tax royalty revenues of C$4.4 million within the first two full years of production.  "Based on production guidance from Thor, we expect that this royalty has the potential to generate revenue almost five times Vox's initial investment of C$900,000 within a span of three years,” Vox Royalty executive vice president of corporate development Simon Cooper said in a statement.  READ: Vox Royalty announces record 1Q revenue on first Koolyanobbing royalty payment “This is another example of Vox's unique ability to acquire accretive precious metals royalties that are within 3 – 24 months of first production," Cooper added. Vox Royalty acquired the Segilola gold royalty in September 2020, and royalty payments are capped at US$3.5 million, or about C$4.4 million.   In March 2021, Thor Explorations forecast production of 46,000 ounces of gold in 2021 and 109,000 ounces of gold in 2022 from Segilola. Vox is a precious metals royalty and streaming company with a portfolio of more than 50 royalties and streams, which span nine jurisdictions. Since the beginning of 2019, the company has announced over 20 separate transactions to acquire over 45 royalties. Contact Sean at sean@proactiveinvestors.com
