United Airlines says it has regained some privileges that were suspended after a series of incidents on flights earlier this year. The airline said Thursday that the Federal Aviation Administration is letting the airline resume starting new routes and adding new planes. But the FAA's stepped-up oversight of United is continuing. The FAA has been looking more closely at the airline since a series of incidents involving United jetliners. They included an engine fire, planes losing pieces of aluminum skin and tires during flights, and another that rolled off an airport taxiway.
