First-of-its kind review of cases under former Maryland medical examiner expected to get underway this year

State Attorney General Brian E. Frosh (D) announced last April that his office would be auditing the autopsies performed during David Fowler's 17-year tenure. The probe was sparked by Fowler's testimony in defense of the Minneapolis police officer on trial for murder in the death of George Floyd.
