Calcutta HC upholds Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay's order asking CBI, ED to quiz Abhishek Banerjee; MP moves division bench

The Calcutta High Court on Thursday dismissed Trinamool national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee's and arrested accused Kuntal Ghosh's applications against an order by Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay that asked the CBI and ED to question them. Justice Amrita Sinha also imposed costs and directed Banerjee and Ghosh to deposit Rs 25 lakh each to the HC registrar-general.
