Parliament Adjourned Sine Die After Historic Passage Of `Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam`

The day after it cleared the legislative hurdle in the Lok Sabha by a brute majority, the draft legislation, which provides 33 per cent reservation for women in the Parliament as well as other law-making bodies, was passed unanimously in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday, with 214 members voting in support and none against.
