Rooks to rockets: Chess grandmaster Praggnanandhaa to make right moves for Isro

India's lunar rover Pragyan has ceased functioning on the Moon, prompting the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to enlist the help of chess grandmaster R Praggnanandhaa to promote science and technology among young Indians. ISRO Chairman S Somanath expressed pride in both the lunar rover and the chess prodigy, stating that Praggnanandhaa's accomplishments on land paralleled those achieved by Pragyan on the Moon. Somanath also revealed plans for the first unmanned flight test of the Gaganyan human spaceflight mission on October 21.
