Alwar man, infant daughter burnt to death while asleep

A man and his infant daughter died from burn injuries caused by a fire in their home in Alwar district. The fire broke out when an electric heater, left on to protect against the cold, caused a short circuit. The man's wife also suffered severe burn injuries and is in critical condition. The police are investigating the incident.
