Government offices to be closed for half-day on January 22

Central government offices, institutions, and industrial establishments nationwide will be closed until 2:30 pm on January 22 for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Lalla temple in Ayodhya. The decision, aimed at allowing employees to participate in the celebrations, honors public sentiment. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform the ceremony, livestreamed from 11 am to 1 pm.
