I’ve been a Ubiquiti advocate for the past 5-6 years for the vast majority of enterprise networking installations. It’s not going to be the perfect fit for all installations. Still, I believe that it covers 95% of the networking needs of most organizations outside of data centers and very demanding environments. One of the negatives of Ubiquiti for many users was the focus on email and forum-based support. For mission-critical environments, 24/7 support is needed. Ubiquiti recently eliminated that issue as they now offer 24/7 phone support as an additional tier.
