Denver protests live: Updates from June 4 demonstrations at the Capitol

Protests in Denver are entering a second week after the May 25 deaths of George Floyd in Minneapolis. Floyd was a black man killed when a white police officer knelt on the back of Floyd’s neck for nearly nine minutes as Floyd screamed “I can’t breathe!” Floyd was later pronounced death and the officers involved have seen been fired and arrested.
